Braden Roberts, in his "Genealogy of Joseph Peck" in 1955 listed four
generations of Thomas Chapmans. Noni
Sawyer reports that some adjustments need to be made in his data based on more
recent research. Some show his parents to be Benjamin 1560 and Ann Parkinson
and grandfather to be William Chapman 1530 but there is not a bit of evidence
to support such a claim.
