The First Annual Chapman Family Association Convention information
from Mari Modlin, Webmaster:

The First Annual Convention in St. Louis, MO was a tremendous
success! 

There were approximately 80 people registered and in attendance.
Everyone enjoyed meeting and talking with the other "Chappies"...
There were several presentations, and we will be putting short 
summaries of these presentations online as soon as possible. 

We voted on where to hold the next Convention, and it was decided it
will be held May 17-19, 2002 in Salt Lake City, UT. In 2003 it will be
held in Richmond VA. Also, it was voted that the Conventions will be 
held from here on out on the Third Weekend in May. 

We will be putting pictures of the Convention, and also narrative to
give you a glimpse of our First Annual Convention. Please be patient...
we are collecting information from several different sources, and will 
add when we have it compiled.
