History
The early CFA By-Laws said that we will meet on the third Monday of the month of March in each year, beginning with the year 1995. It took some time to get the meetings thing organized and it was not until 2001 that CFA had the first meeting. After he became president in 2000 President Bob Chapman proclaimed that CFA would meet in 2001. In October 2000 Bob and his wife Phyllis attended the 13 annual meeting of the Alford association, CFA's sister organization. His comments and some photos were in CFA Quarterly #23, Fall 2000. Based on a poll of the membership the place was to be in St. Louis, MO, centrally located in the US and mid-May was selected as the more desirable time. The first announcement and registration form appeared in CFA Quarterly #24, Winter 2001.
