"Chapmans" found in the 1830 Arkansas census data format is as shown below -

SL CO FO Page Township SL = Slaves, CO = Free Colored, and FO = Foreigners.
Many, if not all, entries for slaves, free colored, and foreigners is "00."
When counts are shown for slaves or free colored breakouts by sex and age can
be found on the microfilm. That data is now included in the CFA reports when
available. For the tabulation of the white males and females 13 columns, spaces,
or digits were used for each age bracket. Working from left to right the age
groups are:
1 = under age 5
2 = age 5 thru 9
3 = age 10 thru 14
4 = age 15 thru
19
5 = age 20 thru 29
6 = age 30 thru 39
7 = age 40 thru 49
8 = age 50 thru
59
9 = age 60 thru 69
10 = age 70 thru 79
11 = age 80 thru 89
12 = age 90 thru
100
13 = 100 years and over
