1800 Census GAFederal census was lost for all counties but Oglethorpe.
Shaded area to the west is Indian lands. Tax records do show that James Chapman was in Chatham County in 1792 and 1793.
Warren County tax records reveal the presence of Benjamin and Deberah Chapman in Campbell's District in 1794 when they were both listed on page 157. In 1805 Warren County tax records we find several Chapmans in various districts as follows:
Bakers District page 193: Benjamin Chapman and David Chapman.
Bakers District page 194: Abner Chapman, Milly Chapman, and William Chapman.
Bakers District page 195: Robert Chapman.
