VERLEE M. CHAPMAN
A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept 6, 2002, in Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes for Verlee M. "Lee" Chapman, who died Sept 1 at age 80.
Verlee Waite was born April 4, 1922, in Storm Lake, Iowa. During World War II, she was a Navy Wave in Europe. She lived in areas in Europe and the United States before moving about 1960 to Portland, where she was an administrative assistant for Multnomah County Fire District 10.
Survivors include her daughter, Lori Dufficy; companion, Truman A. Bishop; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
