Former teacher, owned nursery school in Royal Oak
Services for Marjorie B. Chapman, 81, a former teacher and the owner and operator of the Bluebird House Nursery School in Royal Oak, will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday in the William Sullivan & Sons Fulleral Home, Royal Oak.
Mrs. Chapman, who was born in London and lived in Royal Oak. died Saturday in Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. She taught in Detroit public schools and at Wayne State University. She also taught adult education In Royal Oak.
She was a president of the Royal Oak Soroptomist Club.
Surviving are her husband, James W.; two daughters, Patricia Robertson and Kaye Uinalis; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials can be made to the Michigan Diabetes Association.
