Floyd Chapman Dies

NORWOOD -Floyd T. Chapman, 77, Brookdale, Route 1, a dairy farmer, died Thursday at his home.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Buck Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kenneth Taber and the Rev. Mark Bartlett officiating. Burial will be in Brookdale cemetery.

Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Surviving are his wife, Clara; two sons, Lloyd M. , Crooksville, Ohio, and John 0., Brookdale; two daughters, Mrs. Andrew (Kathleen) Zimmerman, Tonawanda, and Mrs. Gregg (Amy) Harvey, Brookdale; 10 grandchildren; two brothers, Clifton and Edward, both of DeKalb Junction, and two sisters, Marjorie Streeter, Brookdale, and Mrs. Bernard (Doris) McClure, Bradenton, Fla.

A son, Floyd, died before him.

Born at Stockholm on Aug. 22, 1912, a son of Edwin S. and Lois Tracy Capman, he married Clara Bentley on April 10, 1944 in Glens Falls.
