CHAPMAN, DOUGLAS W., on Wed., Aug 21, 2002; beloved husband of the late Verlaine S Chapman (nee Schmutzler); loving father of John Kerry and Kent (Terri) Chapman; dearest grandfather of Andrew and Eric; our dear brother. brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. Doug was a member of and past secretary of the Normandy Kiwanis International for many years and served as a Navy corpsman attached to the U.S.M.C. during WWII. Memorial service for Mr. Chapman will be held at Normandy Methodist Church, 8000 Natural Bridge Ad., on Mon., Aug. 26 at 6 p.m. Memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer's Assn., 9374 Olive Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63132, in memory of his beloved Verlaine.
