Biography
NATHAN S. CHAPMAN IV

NATHAN S.7 CHAPMAN IV (NATHAN6, NATHAN5, NATHAN4, NATHANIEL3, NATHANIEL2, EDWARD1) was born April 11, 1831 in Bremen, Maine, and died March 11, 1913 in Norwalk, Ohio. He married CLARA COLEMAN January 9, 1867 in New London, Ohio, daughter of PERRY COLEMAN and BETSEY MERRIFIELD. She was born August 10, 1849 in New London, Ohio, and died April 26, 1921 in Norwalk, Ohio.

Nathan Chapman IV enlisted August 6, 1862, at Waldoboro, Maine, as a Corporal in Company B, 20th Maine Infantry which fought at Gettysburg in July 1863. He was discharged as a Sergeant on July 3, 1865.
