Biography - Captain Nathaniel Chapman

CAPTAIN NATHANIEL5 CHAPMAN (JOHN4, JOHN3, JOHN2, EDWARD1) was born September 13, 1746 in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, and died February 18, 1807 in Salem, Washington County, Ohio. He married ELIZABETH SIMONS February 8, 1770 in Leominster, Massachusetts, daughter of JAMES SIMONS and ANNA LAWRENCE. She was born February 2, 1748/49, and died July 18, 1776 in Leominster, Massachusetts.

Captain Nathaniel Chapman was a Minute Man and a member of the Continental Army in August 1, 1775. He continued in the service of the Continental Army, after the death of his wife Elizabeth, in 1776. As seen in military records.
