Biography Benjamin Chapman, Jr.

BENJAMIN (6) CHAPMAN, JR., (Benjamin (5) Sr, Nathan (4), Nathaniel (3), Nathaniel (2), Edward (1) b. Abt.
1760; d. April 3, 1842; m. ZYLPHA BRYANT, 1782; b. 1760; d. July 20, 1812.

Benjamin Chapman, Jr., was a Revolutionary soldier and took part in the Battle of Maja Bagaduce from the 6th
of Jul to the 24th of September 1779. Benjamin was a member of a Detachment from Colonel William Jones'
Regiment of Militia under the command of Captain Benjamin Plumer. Benjamin Chapman was also known as
"Ben Vengeance."
